Yep, I gave up after 2 years waiting for BMW to officially release performance exhaust for 335.

Don't hold your breath.

Some of us have been waiting the official release of this since 2012!

You're dreaming if you think they are going to import it.

I asked my SA... told me BMW Australia were going to release performance exhaust for our 340i. But subsequently pulled the pin. Will not be available for the 340i from BMW Australia.

This appears only to be the exhaust and not combined power kit.. Do you know if the also sell / ship the complete exhaust and power kit as this might be the way we have to go if in fact BMW Oz for what ever strange reason don't bring it in

That's looks like the power kit just need to be sure it's for the 340 and combined with the exhaust. As its a software upgrade I would think a BMW dealership would need to install it. I'm almost positive my local dealership would install this for me and at the end of the day it's still a BMW produced product

^ well the local dealer doesn't sell the Performance Exhaust for the 340i but are happy to install it. So I guess they'd install the powerkit too

2024 BMW  [0.00]
Just got my Manual 340i two weeks ago.

Been thinking of upgrading stock brakes ,4 piston front and 1 sliding at Rear.

Has anybody has the M Performance Brakes installed? What do you think?

Love the car very different to my last 6.2L V8 380kw 620Nm car, waiting for BMW M Power Performance Kit as needs much more up high in revs but current great down low.

Did you get the coding for the brakes done when they were installed Mark?

If not, I would suggest that is why they feel spongey.

BBK is Big Brake Kit.

When you add the kit you need to change the parameters of the ECU to reflect the addition.

Generally when the coding hasn't been done the pedal will feel spongy and not real good. Once you do the coding, according to those who have had it done, the pedal feels as it should.

The dealer will do the coding using ISTA/P but you can get someone, unless you can code yourself, to do it by adding the HO-Wort "SPBR" using E-Sys.

I've got the M-Sport brake upgrade on my 2014 335i, huge discs that make cleaning the wheels difficult.

The pedal feel is spongy with more initial travel than you expect, certainly less confidence inspiring than the standard brakes, until you really have to use them. I've had a few emergency stop situations in the past two years and they are amazing when you're really standing on them.
