Is buying a used jb4 bad for a f32 ? If it is sold at a discount is it worth buying a used jb4

Why would it be bad? Its the same part. As long as the harness is the same and you have all the connectors, theres no difference between new and used.

As longest the connectors isn't that bad and will fit in your car then you'll be fine.

I personally wouldn't recommend it. You never really know what happened to it before, or if the install was done right. When it comes to mods with my cars ecu i wouldn't take the chance on something that doesnt have after sales support direct from the retailer.

I bought two used ones and neither one worked. Sellers ignored my cries for help and BMS doesn't offer their customer support for second owners. Unless you know the seller and have seen it work, go with a new one- you won't regret it!

I would consider the price difference and the mods the previous owner has.
If the seller is local, would be much better. You can see the unit in action before you get it.
The reason being I don't recommend, is because it is a non-moving parts, you can see what is wrong with it physically and it is something that will affect your engine if something is not right.
