Same thing that's cool about donk cars or far pipes on a Honda, or a triple wing, or neon triple windshield wipers, or spinners... Nothing.

I don't consider that stanced....Stanced to me is a super flush fit or maybe a teeny bit of poke, but just completely filling up the fender gap. That to me is cambered, and i'm not a fan of it at all.

The cars with the ridiculous stretched tires and crazy camber must trash their tires and fenders. So if I owned a tire or body shop, I'd love them. I'd encourage them to run even lower and with more negative camber!
Why do u have to bring Scion guys into this?

Just like baggie pants started as a way for drug dealers to hide their stash and illegal gun and backing into a parking spot so you could do a quick getaway.

Never minding you have to walk like a duck to keep your pants from falling down and you're far more likely to mess up your car backing into a spot.

A few years back, I posted up a similar inquiry as this OP on another board as I tend to focus strictly upon what makes my car faster or handle better. On a much less extreme degree, I'd see folks lower their cars to the point of looking cool but screwing up suspension geometry, or putting huge stagger wheels on which only enhanced understeer. I received many responses but the most telling went like this.....Our cars represent a society's recognized form of expression. If I want to express myself through my car in a way you don't want or appreciate, that's my choice and should not be governed by your choices.

I'd echo that here for folks critical of the original stance shots. Are they consistent with my concept of car? No and neither is some of the slammed or highly lowered cars or people who put screaming loud exhausts on their car just for the sake of it.

Stance guys really don't care about handing if they are static and scraping along the floor - so that comment that they handle like shite is stating the obvious.

But just because a car is on air ride does not mean they handle crap - that's why performance kits were created.

Slammed cars are the latest fad.
Before was mulitwipers and multi wings
Then fart pipes on imports
Then spinners
Then donk cars
They'll be gone soon enough when the idiots doing it get tired of poor ride, poor handling, buying tires, and bad resale.

I think the appeal is that the owners of them like them, so to them, it's cool. "Coolness" is not a universally defined/accepted trait. I don't think it matters whether you or I think it's cool.

All the best.
