If these capabilities exist, why don't BMW just put them on the iDrive menu?

I really don't understand why I should fuck around just to get my door mirrors to fold in when I want

I have e-Sys, but haven't used it for 3x years.
I'm quite tech savvy, but I struggled to understand the process fully.
I bought the token, but wasn't sure if I even needed it - (probably expired now??)

I struggled through and got the advanced Bluetooth I was after so I could have wireless music and duel fones (not sure how)

Do I need the token? Or does it depend on what I want to do?
I currently want to activate the passenger mirror dip in reverse as the new car does not have folding mirrors

It boils down to charging people money but also simplifying manufacturing. At the end of the day £££ or ???

just got carly running, did diagnostics check and came back with what looks like miscellaneous crappy fault errors, the problem i am finding is there is no fucking library to give you meaningful description of each error code, for example:

Integrated Chassis Management Quer/Längsdynamik
