dmnc02 glad we got that figured out. Maybe one day I'll get a hair up my ass and want to retrofit the parking assist functionality, but as of right now I suppose it's not too painful to hit the button to activate the sensors.

My 2016 X3 loaner does have the Auto PDC on thingy as well and I find it very convenient.
Come on BMW, Mercedes has been doing this for years on their cars with Parktronic. When you drive at certain low speed, the front sensors turn on. When you shift in N, on the new ones, both the front and rear sensors will be on. Some people hate it but I love it! |
