This is in fact what happened then. They have been much better recently of doing replacement parts. We have received 2 such headlight replacements. One that was systemic to the car (local customer) that tested fine in another car (if you are interested in this one, though it's used, it may suit your needs based on your car's programming).

So, umnitza has contacted me and said they will try to resolve my issue. Could possibly get a replacement part in a month after a year of waiting. I will see if this is a fact or another lie.

Any update? Looking to upgrade my F31 as well. Might go Xenon route, but LED sounds like a better option.

Where are you thinking of getting the Xenons from? Has anyone ever got OEM lights from BMW?

They're pricey if you order directly from BMW, say around a grand a piece just for the housings. Then there's the control modules, $400-$600 a piece, LED modules, anywhere from $100 a pair to $100 a piece depending on where you order from. Bulbs of your choice, $150 average for a set, and igniters run about $250 a piece. Mind you that's all new parts from BMW, but you still have to do the rewiring on both the headlights and the FEM module inside the car, and recode everything. I'm currently in the process of collecting parts for my retrofit, but it's taken me roughly 2 years to get a hold of everything, and I've finally tracked down 2 used control modules for the non adaptive headlights. So far with used housings, used igniters, used bulbs(essentially brand new), new LED modules, and the used control modules, I'll be roughly $1,500 into parts alone for the retrofit. Since I'm doing the coding and wiring, that's money saved for later when I put the headlight leveling system in, which should be about another $300 in parts (i think). Mind you, it's not the cheapest way to go, but in the end, I will have all OEM parts that in the chance that anything goes wrong down the line, I can replace it easily.

Not sure where to get DEPO lights. USD is still not in stock. I did see brand new COMPLETE LED sets on eBay for $2K. I don't know if I should trust that or Umnitza. Yeah buying from BMW sounds pricey.

Looks like Depo are out of stock. I would rather get OEM and deal with the cost than have coding and failure issues. BMW dealer told me that the vin has to have xenons to purchase- so unsure if that is BS or if I can order from them!

It really just depends, if they look like the Umnitza ones, then they're the same ones, but you can buy the OEM LED lights on eBay as well, I just don't know if they're adaptive though. |

Got some intel on ordering OEM parts... this is F31 but think that is same as F30. I don't know if this is everything you need - believe you may need coding. Total of these items is $2977 plus any tax.... I'm back to thinking bulbs!

Have you seen this? https://www.umnitza.com/headlights-p...eyes-6505.html Supposedly OEM Xenon (ZKW) and a lot cheaper than your pricing. |

eBay purchases like this would make me somewhat nervous. Thanks for the link.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-F30-Set-...-/151994121782 It's all relative but quite a few negative and neutral feedback. Considering over 19k transactions in the past month and 250 below positive would seem ok. Read that they had a 20% restocking fee on one item it is too big a risk for me.

I totally agree with you, that's around $300 risk plus return shipping. It is brand new, so it most likely won't have any issues. If it did, I would probably get it replaced, not refunded. The 255 (negative/neutral) out of 18646 transactions the past month is only 1.4%. I did a search on their feedback for "headlight assembly" and there was only 3 or 4 negative/neutral the past 12 months. I may look around a couple months and see if I find something I'm more comfortable with or get them for my birthday

Good luck. I scanned through and most parts were small. Nothing like the headlights. Hope it works out. Would be a nice birthday gift! I just picked up the carbon gear selector on surround. Looking forward to installing.

Please do not get these headlights. You can found cheaper ones on ebay. The headlights are also heavier them your stock ones. Plus a lot of people who purchased these Umnitza headlights have issues with them including myself. The ones I got are still broken and sitting in the garage because Umnitza has not honor the warranty it came with. I contacted and emailed them so many times to try to get a replacement. But the same answer was always given which was that they will try their best to get me a new replacement.. Lastly the headlights are made in China, so the quality has a chance of not being the best or durable.
