It's the new digital display instrument cluster. LCD instead of analog gauge display.

great finds so basically the only unresolved 2018 US vs the rest of the world is the touchscheen for the NAV...

side note is BMW can chill out with the base price increases especially with the lease residuals so low

2018 M3/4 will have touchscreen Nav as standard option (609). So i guess, if you opt for the stand alone Nav option (609), it should come with touchscreen as well.

I hear you,
I priced out an A5 Sportback @ around $52k, $3200 insensitive for leaving BMW, $2k down payment, 12k mls/36m
Monthly payment @$520 tax incld.
And I have 30 days to think about it.
Meantime I have a GC on a ship heading to L.A. and the monthly payment might be almost $100.00 more then the Audi.
The other brands are making it easier to leave BMW.

Couldn't agree more.. look at the Acura Tlx... I'm paying $450 a month on a 320i with track handling package, heated front seats, led headlights and sunroof.. total was around 36k for 4 cylinder 180 hp.. smh...

I didn't see a bulletin for the M4 only the M3 which echos the 2018 3 series including the touchscreen.

Rear cameras, by law, have to be standard. BMW didn't 'give' us anything.

FYI - I got a production allocation at the beginning of this month, but I have been going back and forth with my SA and finally decided to wait until July to place my order so I can get the new 6WB cluster. However, it turns out that the cluster option popped up in his system today, and he added it to my build. I'm very happy and would recommend to anyone that's waiting for the cluster to see if their SA can do the same. I'm getting the benefit of a lower base price but still getting the added option. The only downside is I may not get the touchscreen nav, but we'll see when it gets here. Good luck!

Why is that? The MT is available on the same 4ers for MY19.

Ya, ZMT is still listed as a NC option for the 430i, 440i and 440i xDrive. And ya, it's still odd imo that it's not offered on the 430i xDrive.
