New 430 GC Owner - somewhat confused

Can anyone help me with tires sizes?

I have a 2018 430i Gran Coupe. Base model. No x drive. Regular suspension

My car’s factory setup is 225/45/18 on all 4 tires. Offset is 34mm

I want to put 19 inch rims on my car.

Since the wheels are all the same size I guess I’m confused on if I can run a staggered setup or not?

Should I get 19x8.5 on all 4 tires? Or could I do 19x8.5 and 19x9.5?

I’m also confused on what tire size to go with. I want the meatier look and want it to stick out a little but I don’t want any rubbing and I don’t want there to be a gap.

So I’m also confused on what tire size to get and also If the tire sizes also need to be the same all around since that’s how the car came? I don’t want to use spacers or do any modifications

You can run square 8.5 wheels all around and do OEM tire staggered tires 225/40 and 255/35.
This is the setup that I currently have. Picture attached for reference.

You can also do 8.5 front and 9.5 back.
On the front wheel you could run 245/35 or 40 depending on the offset of the wheels. The back can fit 275/35 I was told with fender roll.

There are multiple tire size options for this setup so it's up to you to do the research and decide what's suits you. These setups get confusing so make sure you read a lot before committing to something, I learned the hard way

Below is my f36 stock suspension RWD

8.5 square ET30 225/40 255/35

Good luck

BMW OEM 442M wheels - or wheels with identical specifications - are always a good choice: 19" and staggered.

No it's flush up front and back on 8.5 with ET30

Logically, If I'm not mistaken running 9j ET35, 9.5j ET40 etc.. on the back will achieve the same look

Do you also think might work?

Front 19x8.5 Offset 33
Rear 19x9.5 Offset 35

Front 235/40r/19
Rear 265/35r/19

If your tires/wheels stick out from the fender then they don't fit the car.
