BMW F30 Exclusive Japanese Market M-Sport Badge

Guys,

Just noticed that the BMW F30 M-Sport models in Japan come with an exclusive Emblem as well. If you buy any M-Sport model in Japan, the car comes with this emblem.

Here is a photo for a reference:

If you guys want more pics, please see:
http://autoc-one.jp/bmw/3_series/rep...hoto/0008.html

I actually also recently bought this emblem in Japan, just installed it too

Pic is a 320d, not a 328i.

I think the 328i M-Sport is the same everywhere.

No it isn't. ALL Japanese BMW's have smaller brakes and less safety features. Try bringing one to the states. I have gone down that road already my friend.

When I was in Yokosuka, Japan, I went to test drive the cars and I noticed that the specs for the brakes were smaller than the US. I need to find the exact number, but the reason being was due to the slower speeds traveled on average in Japan. The brakes in Japan will not fit US models. Plus, due to the fact that the safety standards in Japan are FAR less restrictive, some models have no passenger airbags and side strengthening bits. It's cool though........thumbs down.

Yeah I got my car through Pentagon Auto out of Rota, Spain. The process was excruciating because I built it about a year before I took delivery!! Overall, everything went extremely smooth. Oh yeah.......saved about $10000 too!!!

Saved $10k on a year old car. I am sure year end leftover sales are similar.

Thanks for trolling, but I have a 2013 and the discount was for military personnel only. Not sure what you are trying to accomplish with this reply.

I am military also, and bought a 2013 MSport custom ordered and not a used demo. It was shipped directly to me from the factory with 5 miles on the odometer. Now, how did you get a $10,000 discount? You are not trying to add in the sales tax as part of the savings are you? Since registration overseas still adds similar costs to sales tax in the US. Seeing how it is about a $4K-$5K max discount directly from BMW and they do not allow discounts on any upgrades, I would like to know how you claim this on a 328 Sport edition that was brand new, and not used as a demo. Please do tell....... I will be waiting for this response, doubt I will see it though, as we both know why!

I actually like it. It adds some needed contrast in that area on alpine white cars.

Congrats!

You sir, are obviously lacking in intelligence, but I will humor you because I am not. The car was $31800 ($35200 no discount). With added options, the total was $36500 ($42500 no discount), PENTAGON AUTO added 2 years of factory warranty for FREE ($2800 upgrade), and my sales tax would have been $3800, but only had to pay $950 due to coming from overseas the state of Virginia allows for reduced sales tax FOR MILITARY. I respect that you too are in the military. I don't respect you. Now please bother someone else.

$36,850 was the base price from BMW for a standard nothing attached 328i Sedan. PCS base price is $32,200, which is a $4,650 savings. All options are same price as the website. If you drove your car while oversees, then you only received a 2 year warranty, which is the standard European warranty from BMW. Once you returned from overseas, and to Virginia, you continued with your 4 year warranty, since your BMW is a US Spec model. They did not give you 2 more years for free, as they are not allowed to, and it is illegal to do so, aka 6 total years/100,000 miles which is the extended warranty. Go look at your purchase order/Bill of Sale from PCS and let me know where I am wrong, as I have mine sitting in front of me, and I am also very good friends with one of the managers from PCS in Germany.

Now onto your sales tax...you would recieve the same discount on any car, as I did also, for the tax exemption/partial tax exemption depending on the state you claim as your home of record. If you drove your car while overseas, it is considered a used vehicle, and therefore you would not be liable for sales tax in the US on it. Notice how I did not sling insults, just facts.

BTW, any of your friends get blown up in Iraq or Afghanistan? If the answer is yes, there is a good chance my team or my fellow team's took care of them. See, I also brought home the injured from Benghazi after the attack on the Embassy. Maybe you should learn to tone down your attitude, and not embellish as much and people wouldn't question you. Now, I do not respect anyone for just being in the military as it is just another job on the surface, I do respect those that perform the job in combat zones and put others ahead of themselves. Want to sling more mud? Have a great day!

$32,200 base price, + $2,500 sport line + $550 Mineral White Metallic = $35,250. So you added another $1,250 in options. Amazing what intelligence and math can equate to. Please, let me know if I made a mistake in my math, as I am holding the PCS 2013 pricing guide in my hand as I type this. /rant slam dunk finished! Have an OohRahh day!
