Is it possible to get MY2015 ED within same month as SOP?

To keep a long story short, I am planning ED of a 335i F30 next summer. Unfortunately due to a wide range of factors, I can only do the following pickup dates...

7/25/14 (Friday) or 7/28/14 (Monday)

8/29/14 (Friday) or 9/1/2014 (Monday)

I would prefer the first 2 dates over the last 2 because I plan to drive my car from CA to WA, with the 6-8 weeks of shipping, I would be looking at November to drive my car up and I am not sure if I want to risk hitting snow on I-5.

With that, I see that usually July is when BMW does the model year change. Is it possible to place an order for MY2015 and be able to guarantee to pick up the car on 7/25/14 or 7/28/14? Is that not worth the risk even if they say it is possible?

The biggest reason why I want MY2015 over MY2014 is I hope that they have more interior trim options for the MSport line, I am not really happy with any of the trim options available for MY2014.

Talk about planning ahead! I somewhat agree. I felt like when I was choosing trims, I was choosing the least ugly instead of the best looking. What kind of trim are you looking for that currently isn't available?

This sounds like something you'd have to ask the particular dealer you're ordering through.

I like the Anthracite, the Dark Burl Walnut is still too light for me (I am getting black interior). The Alum Hex just looks like a snake skin... So I am leaning toward the Dark Burl if I had to pick between the two.

I am hoping that BMW will provide more than just those 2 trim options next year, even if at a small surcharge.

Anything can be done at a price. I doubt they will offer anything different for MY15. Earliest would probably be at the LCI.

I went with the Dark Burl because I think it was the best option with Black interior. Love the Anthracite also and hate it isnt an option on the M Sport
