Unfortunately I didn't get a test drive in this!

I'm not convinced by the general fit of any of those bits. They all look a bit 'stuck on'. I've always thought the charm of the M5 was just how much of a Q car it was, these bits just make it a bit shouty in my view.

Very nice, although with the CP version announced I'd want a discount on that, well come to think of it I'd want a discount regardless.

I like the skirts & diffuser, but I definitely agree on the front splitter things, they are a strange design!

Lovely need to work a bit more to afford it but would probably take a M760i instead at that price point

I think I rather would wait a couple of years, let BMW's tendency to oversupply do its job, and pick up a 1 year old F90 M5 for £45k!

JD6 It will take much more than a year for the machine that is known as the F90 to hit the £45k mark :/

Agreed, I suggested a couple of years for it to hit £45k. I appreciate that may look excessive, but M car volumes no longer seem to be restricted. BMW just seem to flood the market these days. We'll see - perhaps it's wishful thinking on my part! I would like another M5 at some point.

IMO the carbon bits on that are bloody awful. I'd keep it standard.

I agree but just for front bumper trim , it looks like stuck on one and why BMW didn't make a normal splitter

Rear diffuser and skirts look very nice .

On another note, the M5 was bloody lovely inside! The feel and smell of the Nappa leather that's all over the seats, dashboard and doors is amazing, the Alcantara on the roof and pillars adds quality, and combined with the fantastic 5 series layout plus the M seats which actually look great in two tone in person, it really did feel like a car that costs double that of the X3 I'd spent the day in!!

Superb car - all the reviews that I've read so far have rated it very highly.

Shockingly bad spec to spec it in black and add CF. I know it looks mean but it hides a lot of the 'M' lines.
