My take on the M4

1. Ride is pretty rough, WHEN encountering bump, speed bumps etc.
The car had 19" wheels. 18's might be a little more forgiving, but I can see purpose of 19's for handling etx.

2. The car feels very balanced, and feels bigger than 235, and feels heavier, even though it's basically same weight. Might be the width, length, interior cabin, and hood that make it seem this way.

3. Power .........the power is pretty damn good, I mean, make me smile pretty hard.
The power is extremely deceiving..... It's soo smooth and flawless with the cars balance, and pulls endlessly, especially top 2nd gear and all of 3rd.... That its very deceiving in that.... Your at 80-90 mph very qwk!!!!

The dealer said that the power is hampered at bit for first 1200 miles, and they do a flash afterwards to open full potential..... Not sure about this ???

I drove the M4 first, then 235i, then M4 again afterwards....

The M overall felt like a superior car throughtout, vs m235i... In power, stability, smoothness, size, safety etc...

Man I wish I didn't drive the M4..... Now I want one , fuxkk !!!!!

Also,

M235i---- felt more attachment to road, not sure in a good way or not. Only 5 min test drive.

M4 ----- felt more distant, not sure if elec steering , car size may be causing it.

Is this a surprise?

Car that is $20k more expensive and with 100+ more horsepower is faster and more of a blast.

Seems like a foregone conclusion......
