Are our USBs 2.0 or 3.0
Sorry if this is readily known - I'm late to the technology space. I'm looking to put music on a USB drive and need to buy a thumb drive.
Any help is appreciated.

Not sure if this is your exact question, but USB is backwards compatible, so don't feel the need to search for a specific USB 2.0 stick for it to work.
You can plug a USB 3.0 device into anything all the way back to USB 1.0, and it'll work (just at lower speeds). |

Thanks. I'm all set. Order a Sandisk 3.0 64gb to put all my music on. $19 from BestBuy.

Yeah, it doesn't matter what type of USB the port is, 1.1/2.0/3.0 will all work for audio. They are certainly not 3.0, regardless. On my 2015 F31 with NBT, the center console USB is providing 2.0A of power, but pre-NBT BMW USB ports only provide 500mAH, which is why they charge so fucking slow.
