Coding ASD on 435i

Hello,

On the 2Addict section we can see that some people success to code the ASD on the M235i/M135i to sound like an M4 or something else.

In E-Sys they have an ECU call ASD.

On my 435i F33 I don't have this ECU, does this mean that my car isn't equipped with ASD (good news because the sound is just perfect, so if it's natural that's amazing !

) or just that I couldn't code it ?

PS : just another question, where is V_SCHWELLE_2 and V_SCHWELLE_1 in REM ECU ? There is so much lines...

I haven't checked if our 4-series cars have ASD or not. But I think it's found under "CAF" check image below:

Try these settings:

ASD-CONFIGURATION>Model Range>F082>Wert=16

Can't found de the ASD module when reading SVT VCM... I definitely think that there is no ASD in my car...

I think you are correct. Our cars may not have ASD. I couldn't find anything on my 2014 435i when I connected with ESYS

yes there is no asd in the f32 models

I found ASD related settings under HU_NBT. I think I only have the option to turn it off and on.

I believe I remember seeing the S63 as a menu option. Next time you're back we can take a look. I only just figured out the M4 thing yesterday lol. Went and had my I-Level updated.

Its in the ASD module. If you don't have the ASD module when you do your SVT readout in E-Sys then I don't know what to say. I'm not sure why mine would have it while others do not. Its not something that can be ordered or optioned.

By reading you all, I get the impression that the 435i doesn't have ASD whereas the 428i four cylinders has it ! Maybe that's it ?

I was unable to find an ASD module/ECU. I have a 2014 MY 435i.
Build date is February 2014.

I was able to find ASD related content under HU_NBT. I think I only have the option of disabling the ASD.
