Lately, I've seen many 328's without the luxury line have chrome trim around the windows. Is this standard now for 2015 or part of another package? Doesn't show up on the bmwusa.com configuration as standard or part of any package. Kind of lessens the point of the luxury line even more if this has now become standard. I personally liked the chrome trim (adds some elegance) and ended up getting the luxury line but now i see every car comes with it??

From looking at BYO, the car without choosing a Line has a black trim around the windows. M-Sport and Sport Line also have Black Trim, but the M-Sport is "Shadowline exterior" and the Sport Line is "Black high-gloss."

Perhaps they were 320i's? Judging from that and another one configured similar, and then going to the 320i BYO, you can add a Sport Package to those which will add a "Matte Chrome" exterior trim.

Only 328i from BYO that has the chrome trim is Luxury Line, although

This doesn't have the Luxury Line wheels, but has the chrome trim. Went on BYO on couldn't seem to replicate this configuration, with the stock 335i wheels on Luxury Line.

Most likely 320i's with the Sport Package you are seeing, if not then maybe it's something the dealer can do?

My 435i M-Sports includes an optional extra available in South Africa S3L8A exterior satinised aluminium trim option, which has chrome like exterior trim, instead of the normal black.

Ah. They have a weird color scheme there, it's labeled on the cars and represents the lease prices.
