340xi vs 435xi
I cant decide which one to take I like the fact that the 3 series is LCI, new engine led tail lights and also a bit cheaper + better standard equipment. Performance wise they seem identical. Adore the 4 series design and that's a coupe. The only thing that puts me off is soon there will be LCI and I guess the price of the car will drop even faster. I guess my dilemma is more about do I want a saloon or coupe

I too was debating 340i vs 435i, the 340i has faster engine, but if you want to tune the engine, you will need to wait for the tunes to come out. A N55 with a tune will be faster. I think there will be a M440i coming next year...

I would get the newer engine if keeping the car stock
If you want to add mods, get the N55

Bingo! In my experience, the price of a pre-LCI car and post-LCI car isn't different enough to warrant waiting if that's your only concern. The only difference you will find is that people prefer a post-LCI car if you selling it - a lot of that is probably because the car is newer. When it's 2019, I'd rather have a 2016 than a 2015. |
