'13 F30 Xdrive springs--H&R Now available!

I know the xdrives are still new and it takes industry a bit to catch up, but any word out there on H&R, etc springs and/or coilovers for the xdrive?

Springs are still in development.

The Coilovers may take a little longer but I'd expect KW to have them out within the year.

Aren't there concerns about drive train angles? From what I hear this is the main reason BMW doesn't lower xDrive cars with sport packages to begin with.

Awesome, thanks for the info! I had heard this also about the drivetrain angle, but I would need some proof. Hopefully, if springs/coilovers are R&D'd specifically for the xdrive, any issues will found out and reported. I'm definitely interested to find out.

Rich,
Saw that you guys have a great price on the non-xdrive f30 HR springs. When you have the xdrive version in stock would you be so kind as to let us know? 'Preciate it!

How is Audi able to offer their "S" models with sport suspension and BMW not able to do this?

Is there an ETA from H&R?

Also, can you use the stock sport non-xDrive springs on an xDrive 335? I've seen folks with e9x's do this on their xDrive's. I'm looking for a very mild drop.

I'm also curious about development here. I wouldn't mind a slightly more aggressive spring with a minor drop. I'm concerned about half-shaft angles, so nothing too radical.

I've considered this myself...really hope H&R or Eibach get on this soon...been scoping out summer wheels but the drop will hopefully come first.

Springs xDrive

Feedback from Switzerland or Swiss retailers respectively:
-FW should be on the market for xDrive within 3 or 4 weeks
-Bilstein said that they need between 2 and 4 month to be ready

I have a 335i xDrive (12/12) with the M-package. My opinion: the suspension of this car is rubbish. It is shaking and rumbling and therefore I hate it.

I am looking forward to change it against a system from KW!

Oh my oh my , can't wait can't wait. Keep us posted.

Shouldn't it be a bit sooner in Germany other than Swiss ?

KW suspension

Had the same problem with my E91 (330xd). The OEM suspension was everything but sporty. The KW coilover set changed it a lot.

But BMW makes the same with F31. If you order an xDrive version with M package, you pay the same price as for the RWD, but you don´t get the lowered M sport suspension. As if the xDrive version didn´t need a proper suspension.

Question M Sport suspension

Do any of you guys know how the 10mm drop in the MSport RWD is accomplished? Different springs? If so, I wonder if someone has swapped their x drive Msport spring for the RWD Msport ones? I've used the search engine but couldn't find an answer to this particular question. I apologize in advance for any redundancy.

It's been discussed but no one that I know of has done it on F30. I'm looking for a cheaper set of oem sport springs to give it a shot with my stock m sport xdrive adaptive suspension.

Thanks. Please keep me updated on your research. Do you happen to know how the slight drop on the M sport RWD was accomplished?
