Irritating noises from interior dome light
I have some significant popping, cracking, etc. coming from my interior dome light. These noises are usually a result of bumps in the road, etc. but sounds like the dome light cover, rubs another piece of plastic that causes the noise. I can immediately fix this by putting my hand on the dome light and that seems to resolve the issue for a short period of time. I know, this sounds like a minor gripe, but when the rest of the car is so quiet these small sounds drive me nuts.
And seriously, who wants to drive a $50k car with one hand in the air pushing up the dome light cover?? Anyone else have this issue? |

Somehow a screw from the sunroof made it down inside the bottom of the chassis and was rolling around in mine. Dealer has had to pretty much take out the entire passenger side interior out to get to it. Hopefully, they can put everything back together the way it was.

I pronounce it "Beemer" and turn my fog lights on even when it's not foggy. |

No weird noises from the front yet, but I have noticed some annoying rumbling in the back when the bass is high.. Not even really that loud but a certain frequency that sets off something somewhere in the rear deck area.
Had absolutely 0 noises on my E92 335i and E92 M3 (except for the stock M3 exhaust shaking the interior a bit)
