Anyone tried Bridgestone DriveGuard run-flats?

Time to replace the OEM summer tires on my F34, and looking at all-seasons for the North Texas climate. Bridgestone DriveGuards seem to get pretty good reviews as far as feel goes.

Anyone tried 'em? Thoughts?

I've heard that the ride on them isn't the greatest. Not sure if you're set on RFTs, but the Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 is a great all season tire. It is even snow capable! It just won product of the year for tires and related products at SEMA 2015!

Where did you hear that? They reviews I've read seem to concur that they are the least "run-flatty" run-flats out there.

I've had a couple of customers tell me that. While I don't have any personal experience with them, the number of customers who specifically request the DWS 06 speaks for itself. At the end of the day, go with whatever tire you think will suit your driving style best.

I put the Drive Guards on my wife's 328i and she loves them. They were at a good price and we are going to trade it in next spring. I think they are doing fine. I really cannot tell the difference from the stock Michelin tires.

So I had them put on yesterday, and so far they're living up to their promise. They definitely feel less harsh than the stock Continental summers.

The only downside I've found thus far is the chip that the idiot dealer put in my brake caliper paint.

I installed Driveguards to replace the original Goodyear LS-2 RFTs on my 535xi last May.

They have performed well. No complaints.

Harshness is not an issue. But that may be attributable more to the 535's nicely compliant suspension rather than the tires.

Yep. Replaced the Pirelli oem's last May with DriveGuards on my '13 328i x drive. Vey happy. Here in CO, have driven them in 4" of snow and they're just fine. The ride is a little quieter and smoother too. Plus, they come with a 50k tread wear warranty. We'll see how long they last, but at least there will be some warranty left when it's time to replace. Got em at Discount Tire.

Love my Driveguards. I've had Contis, Pirellis and Bridgestones. The Driveguards are my favorite by far.

Driveguards much better than OEM Contiprocontact

Replaced original continental contiprocontact tires on my 2015 335 at 24,000 miles. I decided on the Bridgestone Driveguards after reading decent reviews and a $70 rebate offer. Purchased them at Tirerack.com and had local Discount Tire install them. They provide a significantly smoother ride than the continentals which felt like you were riding on rocks and you felt every bump on the road. Handling feel seems okay for a run flat.

Any thoughts on this tire in summer/aggressive conditions.

Looking for a good performance/driving RFT to replace my Potenza s001s this spring.

The P zero run flats get horrible reviews. They must combine the rating of the run flats a non-runflat's together. Because overall it's still gets a favorable rating, but virtually every review I read on tire rack.com did not like these tires
