Ted at M Power Houston can help you out if you need it. They're on Fondren just north of Westpark Dr.

But I think it will be really easy to install that stage 1 kit if you want to give it a shot. Their installation guide has pictures for easier guidance. I think there's a video on YouTube as well.

If you take the car to the dealership with it hooked up....yeah, it could give you problems with your warranty pertaining to the drivetrain, ie: turbo, trans, engine.....it's not black and white. The dealership would still be obligated to, say, fix your sunroof motor or power seat unless they could prove that the jb4 messed up the power seat, which they couldn't.

Trcb777 said it. You can just take it off whenever you take the car in for service. It only takes a few seconds to remove the stage 1 kit! I think it's definitely worth the time investment for the power gains you'll see.

Exactly. I might also suggest making good with a service rep! I managed to do so with one of mine and now I don't have to take anything off and he makes sure they don't put any notes of modifications on record. I've been in several times and have had more than a handful of warranty services completed.

I just had my Jb4 installed at the dealership.
Talk to the gear heads there or find some young guy in the service dept.
These are the folks who won't give you a hard time for trying to squeeze some more juice out of your car.

Just do it yourself - read the manual and go step by step - easy job. Attaching the CAN-bus connection WILL leave permanent markings on your wires so anyone who knows what they are looking for can see a JB4 has been installed.

They give you an installation manual, pretty easy to follow. There are probably videos on YouTube by now but the best support will come directly from BMS. They're always happy to help! If you have any questions you will probably find the answer from a simple Google search.

Right! I've heard of people being pretty slick and cutting higher up underneath the covers to better hide it but I just spliced the center of the wire, myself. Hopefully it doesn't bite me in the future!

I did my Stage 2 myself and it was pretty damn simple.
