Thanks for posting. Looking forward to seeing the LCI revealed as I am considering a GT to replace my F30.

One looks like it has LED headlights, the other looks like either the LEDs that are on the 1 series or the old xenons, not easy to make out for certain. Are they completely ditching halogens on this shape I wonder

I think you can see very well that both F34 have LED headlights and LED backlights - as the F30 LCI already.

Nope, one has projectors with one of them lit (like pre lci f30/31) and the other has led reflectors like the lcis

GT doesn't need a facelift, it needs a full facial reconstruction

Apologies to anyone that likes or owns one, it's just my personal opinion

Come back when you're old enough to drive, or at least old enough to appreciate a practical vehicle.

Personally I like the look of these extended hatchbacks better than tradiation sedan. The only reason perhaps is because of their exclusivity. (Sedans are everywhere.)

BMW 3GT is much better in looks compared to 5GT IMO. And then, personally I also find it better than other such hatchbacks, such as Audi A7, Porsche Panamera. Credit is due to BMW designers to get it done right. To do better, you have to make it look like BMW 6GC, but then you lose some of the practicalities. So the 3GT hits a sweet spot.

IMHO the shape of the projector is rectangular at both cars, which is only at LED LCI headlights. Maybe one car is using high beam and this is the reason for both reflectors lighting.
By the way, the projector of xenon lights is more round and not that rectangular.

You're assuming I'm a teenager because I have an negative opinion on the way a car looks? I believe everyone irrespective of age is entitled to an opinion of there own and can share that on a public forum no matter whether it conforms or not.

Sir, to me at least, it seems you are the one that needs to grow up

I agree with you on one point, as I grow older and as my eyesight becomes (a lot) worse I may just start to like the way the GT looks.

I'm not talking about the angle eyes, but the the light / reflector shape. It is at both cars rectangular, for me a sign for LED as Xenon has round lighting reflectors.

But we will see. Not worth to discuss to much

I quote YOU

"I'm the first to admit that the GT isn't a 428 or 640 in the looks department"

You really are obsessed by the thought that only a teenager could not like a GT

another quote of yours

"IMO most of the flack doesn't come from other BMW owners, it comes from teenagers, many of whom don't even drive yet, let alone have the $$ to be able to afford a BMW."

Even you admit the GT isn't a style icon

"So did I, until I sat in the back seat and opened the trunk. I opted for practicality and comfort over style. To each their own."

Good find OP.

I think everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Its just sometimes the way we express our opinion can offend others. As we grow older, that tends to happen less because we become more considerate..for better or for worse..generally speaking. Respect is the key.

LCI design has LED connect to the kidney grill i think. I also think one has LED and the other has xenon projector.

You really need to take a chill pill!

So what's my crime here?

The fact that I agreed with another persons comment:

I made no comment,

Play nice now.

Your opinion does not offend me, your style does.

I'm looking forward to this facelift but not because of the visual upgrades. The new engine range and options that will be available are my main interests.
I'm totally in love with the looks of my car so I guess we can make some cheap jokes about my taste too...

Good luck with your project!
