Great looking car. "Gran Coupe " badge looks like it was taken directly off of an old Toyota Corolla. WTF do they do that???

I'm guessing the window badge is easily removable with a razor blade scraper.
Silly badge since it's the ONLY four door 4xx series car.

Is that Carbon Black?

Also it seems like a lot of M-Sports are showing up at dealers.

I'm not sure on the color, didn't look at the tag and it's not on the website yet. Someone could've bought it already

Maybe I've been misinformed but I always thought Coupe meant 2 doors. Why is this called a Coupe if it has 4? All other monikers were taken?

I always thought it was called a Gran Coupe because of the coupe styling, but I could be wrong

If I remember correctly, the word "coupe" means a cut roof. It has nothing to do with 2 doors.

You're correct, it means cut, like the rear seats are cut out leaving you with 2 doors from what I read online...

The term was first applied to 19th-century carriages, where the rear-facing seats had been eliminated, or cut out.

But in saying that, there are 4 door coupes...

Today coupé has become more of a marketing term for automotive manufacturers, than a fact of the vehicle's design and technical makeup.[23] The term has been ascribed to vehicles with two, three, or four doors, for their perceived luxury or sporting appeal. This is because coupés in general are seen as more- streamlined and sportier overall lines than those of comparable four-door sedans.[24] Hence a coupé would be marketed as a sportier vehicle than a two-door sedan.
