There is a bug for sorting the musics from USB Memory stick in arm rest.

I have several albums (mp3 format) in the USB stick. when I plugged into the USB in arm rest, I go into the folders, select the album and see that all the tracks in the folder are randomly sorted even I have tried lots of combination for naming like:
a.aakjsdjh
b.laksjdlsdj
..
1.aslkdh
2.asjkd
...
01.asjdkh
02.skdj
..
101...
102...

and goes on..

even I have modified the titles, track numbers of the songs but always the albums were sorted randomly...

the correct sorting shown up only once when I updated the USB software from 0060 to ME-007.000.075 version but when I stoped and run the car, the sorting became random again..

When I search for the software update for my Vehicle it gives "UPD03002".. Can I update the software for another car like UPD1005?

Is there any body knows how the track list can be sorted correctly?

For me, with random off, the music is sorted by more than just title. It may sort by Album, Artist, Track, and then Title, but I'm not sure.

When Random mode is selected, it play randomly across all sub-folders in the USB stick.

random off with me but the problem (was) with the sorting in the folder...

I have removed any dot, dash, underscore, brackets, apostrophe, etc. from the track name and just give 01 Name.mp3 then everything was fine with the album I tried last time..

I will try this on the other albums tomorrow.. I hope it works.

The release notes for UPD1005 are almost identical to the release notes for UPD1004, which seemed odd to me.

Agreed, they are very similar. It's really hard to tell what changed whey they obscure it in release notes formatted this way. It would have been nice to just have a change log.

I downloaded the update and updated the car's software over the weekend.

I've got an iPhone 5 and as far as I can tell there has been no difference to getting emails to display although text messages do show up.

It was just like the advert for me today. On the way home, I had a text from my wife saying her mother had called round. Long route home for me today

I'm using iOS6, and I don't see any difference between UPD1004 and UPD1005.

It was, almost as if it was me in the commercial. Somehow I just managed to get back as my mother in law was leaving

I do have the enhance bluetooth so maybe that's why it works fine for me.

I'm checking to see if my software is up to date but every time I type in the last 7 digits of my VIN I get a message that says "The Vehicle Identification Number you entered is not correct. Please check your entry". I've validated my VIN at least 3 times to ensure I was entering it correctly and still no luck. Any ideas on what I could be doing wrong? Is there a certain amount of time the car has to be in existence before it will appear on this website? I picked mine up a week ago so it was only built about 1.5 - 2 months.

Hi guys. I just checked out the update site and it says my vin code received an update with version 7.0.75. When I download it and plug the USB stick in update section tells me my version is newer 7.0.80. Confused a lot. Why the website offers me to update to 7.0.75 when the car is already up-to-date with a later version? Detailed description of 7.0.75 tells apple standard white cable is enough for music streaming but mine with 7.0.80 can't do that without the y-cable.

Mine did the same for about 2 months and it was only yesterday that my vin code ended up something which turned out to be an elderly version compared to the one that is already in my car.
