Resonator delete + MPE + warranty issues?
Hey guys,
Anyone here did a resonator delete on their car with their MPE? Any feedback on the sound quality would be great (Drone, loudness...). If I do this mod, will my warranty be affected? Thanks

Mppk and mpe with resonator removed.
Absolutely zero drone. Definitely a notice difference in sound. Not significant, but definitely a nicer growl. Not sure if simply removing a resonator has Any ability to cause damage to the car. Isn't the point of a resonator simply to tone down the exhaust sound? Anyway, it would only void your warranty if they can prove that you removing the resonator caused whatever damage it was to your car. It's not like they can void your entire warranty based on that one mod. |

Louder?
Not to hijack the thead, but just curious if the removal of resonator with the MPE makes the MPE a louder as im finding it a bit too quiet currently. ..

Any warranty on your exhaust would be affected but it's an exhaust. Big deal. If you ever had an exhaust issue just go to a muffler shop.

I highly doubt that will ever happen.

Said that, I'm happy to know that drivers has experienced no drone effects after removing central resonator, but I still got some doubts, because I would be very sad if I heared drone effects while driving quiet on an highway...

Hey Guys i have the MPE Exhaust and did a resonator delete and i found it to be louder and the "popping" sounds are bit louder as well. I am not exactly sure how to post videos on the forums but i have a few sound clips on my Instagram feed if you want to check them out! my Instagram handle is "F32_435". I have not found any issues with drone but the exhaust is for sure louder. As far as warranty issues, i personally have not experienced any and nor do i know anyone who has so i think your pretty safe to do it!

Dealer cannot void your warranty all together, they can void a certain warranty claim if they see the mod being a factor.
