Have your read the remainder of this thread?

I don't believe it's a matter of setting anything up, you need to retrofit the full factory BMW alarm system to the car. If the car didn't come wired from the factory with the alarm your stuck going aftermarket.

How do I set up the alarm? I've got a 335i 2014. No sound when locking it. Already had some folk go through it once cause I thought I locked it
I coded the mirrors to fold when locked, that way I can quickly look and confirm it's locked. Only difference is you have hold hold your finger in the comfort access for a second longer than just locking it

No idea if mine fold. But that would be a great way to make sure it's locked. How did you code it?

If you have the alarm it sets itself. I always have my radio on, and when I park I only hit the ignition button once. That leaves the radio on. Hearing it after I get out of the car reminds me to lock it, which also turns the radio off.

This was the best I've ever $400 saved! Instead, I decided to waste it on a 10.2" screen retrofit...money well spent Now to find out how I "paid for this digital cluster" hehe

Read your manual, specifically the personal profile section. The scope of storable settings is country and equipment dependent.
