Hi,
Just thought I'd introduce myself via this thread as I'm in a similar situation to Onthatb0mbshell and rather than start a completely new thread. I currently drive a 640D GC and have been browsing the 4 forum quite a bit over recent months as I had intended changing to a 4 series. I was lucky enough to have extended testdrives in a 435d x-drive cab, a 430i cab, and an M4. The M4 is stunning and the one I had my sights changing to but unfortunately the contract hire deals just weren't working out. Thus I was left with a choice between the 435d and the 430i which is what brought me to this forum. It really is a wealth of information and humour too.. you should be really proud of the content of the forum. I had my order ready for the new car and was about to pull the trigger on one with additional M-performance bits when my dealer made the decision for me and presented me with an offer for another 640D GC.... which was frankly nuts and cheaper than the 4 series I was about to order so the accountant in me couldn't say no. So I just wanted to say hello, and hopefully you won't mind a fellow BMW owner lurking in this forum as I await my new chariot.. given how quiet the 6 series forum is. Cheers Nick |

Welcome to both! 6 series are things of luxury. Think I'd want to get my mitts on them one day, will need to see how much bigger it feels to the 4GC first

That looks very nice indeed. Passed one at CH in Belfast yesterday after sorting a deal out for the FIL on a Quashqai. One day i will have a 6 but probably a GC. Enjoy the new car
