I went with VAC upper and lower control arms and agree with everyone here about the improvements in steering feel. Unfortunately the harshness may be a little too much for me (in particular stiffness over certain bumps).

I have an F22 so things may be different, but did anyone start out with upper control arms and then add lower control arm upgrade to be able to speak to increase in NVH? I'm wondering if just keeping the VAC upper control arms and going back to OEM for the lowers will be the right compromise for me.

I think this may also have to do with where you live. Half the roads I drive on regularly are bad and thats where you feel the increased harshness. Good roads, absolutely zero complaints in ride quality.

i'm on 18" MPS4S with VAC UCA only. i was planning to order the lower later but never got around to it. plus, i'm quite happy with just the upper.

i'd just go ahead and swap back to the OEM LCA since it is easy enough to DIY...

if you do end up selling the VAC LCA, it might be something i'd consider if the condition and shipped price is right.

I have the Monoball lower control arms and front strut brace, huge improvement!

Just swapped out my F8x arms after getting fed up with the occasional arch rubbing on my 437m’s. Pressed in a set of Millway LCA bushes in to stock F3x arms combined with my existing Millway TS bushes and camber plates. Obviously wheel now back in original location in arch, dialled in the camber, and pleased to report steering feel is absolutely excellent. Should have done this a while ago!

I have the VAC lower arms to go in this weekend. But to be honest I have worn out and cracked 100k+ mile upper arms and with 19x9.5 width rims with 245 40 19 Bridgestone RE71Rs tires the steering is quite improved so honestly also take into account that tires with sloppy sidewalls also add to the vague feeling or lack of in my opinion.
