GOT MY GERMAN ORDER 2013 F30 335i vol. no South Africa here

After a little back and forth and a lot of help from the dealer I got my production number and put down my deposit 133Q

2013 F30 335i
Alpine White
Coral Red Dakota Leather
Aluminum Hexagon
M-Sport (ZMM)
Premium Package (ZPP)
Technology Package (ZTP)
Sport automatic transmission with paddles
HK Stereo
Performance Summer Tires (ZPT)

I was extremely torn between Alpine White and Estoril Blue II, but when I bought my 2009 E90 335i in Space Gray Metallic I told myself the next one would be Alpine White. I will save the Blue for when I decide to purchase a true ///M car.

Price of car w/ delivery = $53,570
Negotiated Price = $48,520 (including BMW loyalty and USAA incentives) and throw in some tax credits hopefully by the time it arrives.

Production Week = 46 Nov. 12th-Nov. 18th
It also says Priority 1, which I hope means that the production week is moved up.

NOW the waiting process begins , should be in before Christmas.

Current status = 111 Order Accepted at AG

From what my CA told me there were only 10 German slots available in the US at the moment, not sure how much validity there is to that, but every other dealer I talked to was looking at PW 45 and forward for only South African builds...

Xmas delivery here as well lol. Surprised you got a Euro order. I wanted the Euro order but couldn't get an allocation for it so settled for SA. Hopefully there is no difference.

Not sure about the #10 but I know Euro builds are hard to come by. My dealership only had one and it was for Jan. production.

Your car should transition to 112 status early next week. Make sure you don't want any last minute option changes. Once it hits 112 only certain features can be changed and at some point during 112 it becomes locked.

Seems that 335i from Germany is harder to come by for BMWNA. This is likely a temporary situation. Nothing wrong with SA built cars. Its only the transit time that's a letdown!

^^^ I agree claykin, I was about to go with an SA build, but wanted to take advantage of all the incentives currently out there that will end after 2012. So I held out and got pretty lucky getting a German build and not have to sweat out the transit time from SA...

Congrats, I called BMWNA today and mine is still scheduled for production, but isn't scheduled until PW 46 hopefully it gets moved up to early November bc it is a Priority 1 customer sold vehicle.

Just got an email with the VIN and that my vehicle went into production today even though I had PW 46.

Should be here by Christmas!

Another Dallas 335! Congrats, you'll love it. Surprised how few of them I see still. Very rare to see a 328 F30 even. I have seen exactly one other M Sport and it was in EBII.

Also, what dealer did you buy from? I couldn't get anyone to give me the time of day asking for invoice + $500 and had to go out of state. Which turned out to be fun actually because I got a nice vacation and road trip out of the deal!

Web I was torn between EBII and Alpine White but when I got the Space Grey E90 I told myself the next would be AW.

I will save the exotic color for when I buy the true M car not just the M trim

Damn it, everybody out here with PW45/46 is into production already, but mine is still stuck in "Scheduled for production".

And btw, congrats on hitting 150.

Nice, Autobahn is the ones that were being really hard asses with me. And I had bought 2 cars there and referred one other sale of an M Coupe to them. Was very disappointed with them after having such good experiences in the past.

I guess I was lucky to get a Munich slot for my 335i at $500 over invoice. Or maybe there is more demand for the 328i.

I am not sure how much of this is luck. I can echo the comments of others above and tell you that I ordered my German-build 335 M Sport on October 22 and it was in production four days later.

I also understand that European sales are tanking and BMW has shifted production to other markets.

Given the difference in price 328s certainly account for the vast majority of F30 orders. But there's still plenty of room some 6-bangers...
