Picked up today at the Welt and I am very very happy with the way it turned out! Here are some quick pics from today's delivery.

Congrats on a beautiful car!

Based on the ED pictures so far, it seems like other than fellow board members, there haven't been a lot of F30s in the pics. Did you notice any others when you took delivery?

Was wondering that myself? Maybe it's just a one-off exception for the Welt (the building being in the old nav, that is)

We're touring Bavaria, Black Forest and the Alsace region. Dropping off in Stuttgart.

There were a couple of other F30s being delivered to German customers. The only other Americans that we saw were getting a 1-series.

The X1 seemed to be the most popular model being delivered to locals.

When I did my pickup on Monday this week, there was one EBII F30 328i M Sport being delivered to a local right next to mine, but that's the only F30 I saw on the platform. I did run into some guys from Seattle in the gift shop who were there to pick up an EBII 335i M Sport later in the day. Otherwise, there were a couple X1s, a 5er, and one American taking delivery of an M3.

On a related noted, I was surprised how many locals were interested in my F30 at the Welt and on the road-- I guess they are still a bit unique there too, especially the M Sport--more than once, locals stopped to take photos of my car when I was stopped at the overlooks on the twisty mountain roads.

It looks like he still has the older standard iDrive controller so I am thinking its most likely a one off render on the old system. The new iDrive isn't supposed to be installed into 3s until November....major bummer.

Roup can you confirm?
