Because Racecar backwards is still Racecar!
So I finally got my Wheels and tires mounted. Still need to adjust my coilovers better. Cars is on BC racing coilovers, AG M510 wheels 19x9.5 +40 Front have 15mm spacers with a final offset of +25. Tires are 275/30/19 all around I couldn't be happier with the fitment. Better pics will come after coilovers are adjusted and weather clears up. Hope everyone has a great weekend! The second Pic is the front fitment looking top down obviously.

Hey racecar does not mean drag car. A car does not have to be straight line fast to be considered a racecar. A cts-v would get embarrassed on a autocross track by 120hp miatas.

Your biggest problem is the weight of those wheels, rims and tyres. Add to that the dramatically increased contact patch and you got some big performance losses.
But, it looks good

Its lighter than stock. And the added grip up front helps in the turns tremendously. Last year with the stock 225's up front I was getting plenty under-steer at autocross events. This will eliminate that problem. No performance loss here.

Looks good! Wonder how it would look without a drop? Basically the exact setup I want to run.

It handles amazing, tires are not fully broken in yet but the car feels like its on rails. It goes into turns so smooth however the BC coilovers have camber plates Im going for an alignment this weekend but i think I have around -2.5 degree camber up front so that helps a lot as well.

It would look a bit funny stock height IMO. Plus the wheel sticks out about a 1/2" if you dont have camber plates. But it is doable with stock suspension but you will need camber plates, and also taller tire so you dont have a huge wheel gap. ex:275/35/19

Actually, the contact patch isn't much larger with wider tyres. The shape of the contact patch actually changes. The wider the tyre, the shorter the contact patch and you get less steering feel. The tyres still carry the same weight. Rolling resistance isn't higer on wide tyres in a straight line, but you do increase the frontal surface and increase drag.
