UPS dropped off H&R springs and the M grills yesterday... Needless to say I wasted no time and put the grills in while it was pouring rain !

-Note: Took 15 minutes to do the grills, easy as any german car can be.





Springs will be done asap.. But Im moving and starting a new job all within the next week so it may be a few weeks before I can find the time. I like the grills but I need the gloss black whiskers and the AW painted reflectors to call it a day up front.

This is why I feel Alpine White is the right choice...the Black grills IMO look the best on a white car.

I tried photoshopping it on a Mineral Grey and it didn't look good. I've seen the grills on black cars too and I didnt really like it...

White with Black accessories FTW...

I can tell you that a grey hair wanted to run with my 335i in a Boxster S and I got him by a couple lengths...

the boxster is a 97 with some upgrades, its a nice car and is wicked fun to throw into the corners but the 335 kills it with power... I haven't put good tires on the F30 yet so I can't really judge the grip...

there really is no substitute for the way a porsche drives though

Black grills on MineralGrey looks fantasic IRL. I got mine last saturday with black grills installed by the dealer.

Anyone have a DIY on the reflectors?

under the DIY section I believe there is one, not a great one but its there...

-3 screws on the inside of the wheel well which pulls back the inner wheel well, then it pops out and then you need a new adhesive band to help stick the new reflector in and I think thats all there is to it... I am going to write one up when I install em

Love the M Grills on the cars above. Seems to me they would look good on a red Sportline as well.
