Can I modify my PCP car?

Dear All,
I'm thinking of having a few mods done to my year old f31 which is a on 3yr PCP. I want fit the m performance gear knob, have the wheel re trimmed in alcantara and have the trim carbon wrapped. Would this affect my trade in and as the car is technically not mine is it allowed? Thanks in advance for any advice!

Si.

Yeah its fine. You won't gain any residual value by doing these mods though.

Yeah it's fine. It may effect your trade in value, but that will be up to you sort out when the time comes...

Thanks, I'm planning on keeping the car anyway but just wanted to check! Just need to find a good interior trim wrapping place in West Yorkshire.

It won't affect anything. Do it.

I've modified every car I've ever owned, be that outright, PCP, HP. Whatever.

I always keep the parts that come off for the mods, then when it's time to sell.

Take your mods off before you trade it in, sell the items on forums or eBay.

Put the old stuff on.

Peel the wrap off the trim pieces.

Car is back to standard.

Everyone is happy, BMW non the wiser and if you sell privately the buyer gets a standard car rather than a modded one. Therefore selling a car that will be at max value.
