2013 F30 320D Front Smash
Good day, Bimmer community.
I had an accident a week ago, that resulted the front left of my BMW f30 getting smashed and kinda crushed by a Zebra running infront of me. I wanted to know, from the images I've provided, is this repairable? Would one believe the engine would be able to start once all the front damages have been removed? I assume because my ice pack and radiator is so pushed in, its obviously pushing against pullys and such, it's the main reason my engine won't start. What do you guys think the cost to rebuild this would round me off to? Would it be worth rebuilding or just writing it off and sending to the nearest salvage yard? Kindest regards |

I would say it’s a write off, unless you are a Mat Armstrong or car YouTuber with tools and a lift and can repair the strut tower which is structural component plus all other damaged parts. What caused the front end crash?

Perhaps you missed the line in his post that says "getting smashed and kinda crushed by a Zebra running infront of me."

Yeah, we have a game reserve in our area that don't believe in fences, so, with that being said, a road runs through this reserve, from one town to the next..
It was rainy, dark, roads were wet and I was doing around 100kms/hr and this Zebra just appeared out of nowhere on my left side coming into the road. I had no time to think or swerve, so I slammed into the silly animal. And this is the result. I'm seriously suffering depression over this. This car is not even a year old. |

Looks pretty structural which I believe is going to be more trouble than it’s worth
