Spoiler settings

Hi,

I have a 2017 F34

Is there any settings or coding that can be changed to get the spoiler to come out earlier? It doesn't come out until 70mph :-/

Ideally 50mph or when doing a kick down (auto box) would be cool..

It can be coded. It's a safe bet that the BMW engineers figured out at what speed it's necessary to provide down force. Deploying it at a lower speed won't make the car handle any better, but it will impact fuel economy.

You can code the spoiler pretty easily. You can control when it extends and when it retracts. If you do a search you'll see another post I did on how I found the codes for it.

The codes are on page 11 of the F30 Coding Reference Guide, aka: The cheat sheet.

Thanks, but what kind of hardware/software is needed to do the coding?
