Long story short, I decided to remove my Jb4 after installing it because I did not want to tap into the wires leaving a physical trace. Will the car throw codes if I removed the tune before reconnecting the battery and turning the car on?

I get a stability control warning whenever I disconnect the battery. It goes away in about 5-10 minutes. If anything, that should be it. The car will never know the jb4 was installed.

It will throw a residual code that dealers can see that you DC ed the battery but won't show up on your dash. It can be detected by professional OBD2 software for the BMWs. My friend has checked a few times whenever I DC the battery for install it shows up.
