Sweet looking ride. What are the offsets on the M5 wheels and what are the tire sizes you are riding on?

Wow, that looks great.

I ordered my EB M-Sport today for ED. BTW, I think you forget to type you have the M-Performance Brake Kit. I bought those too for port install. How could you forget, it's almost $3k.

I love the way your sits. I ordered the adaptive suspension and will get the M5 reps too. I'll will want it lowered just a bit more. Yours is perfect to me and gives me hope I can get it lowered just the way I want.

Well done.

BTW, I also ordered the parking distance control, but scratched it off after my sale rep said it would not detect curbs. It's the only reason I wanted PDC, to prevent me from beaching my bumper. My question, does it detect curbs? I believed it did.

Yeah, I didn't mention the M Performance brakes since they were already on the car (port installed) when I took the redelivery in the 'States and I made a brief post with a pic of those last week, should have noted that here too. (paid $2295 VPC installed, btw)

The PDC sensors don't usually detect the curbs-- BUT they have come in very handy when I pull the car into the garage and prevent me from bumping into my motorcycle. Also, I love having the reverse camera. The only thing I dislike about PDC is how obvious all of the sensors are on a white car.

Car looks great!

What really "worry" me though is how close to the ground the front bumper gets with just this moderate drop. It is quite clear that BMW designed the car to be as high as it is with stock suspension. All the body parts are just as low as previous models, even with the high stock suspension.

I've got a question about springs.

Given how poor experience someone here had with KW coilovers, I'm seriously considering these H&R Sport Springs. I'm a newbie on issues regarding suspensions, but I know installing springs is cheaper than coilovers.

Can you put taller springs in the rear for a smaller drop?

And Luke, are you happy with the ride with the adaptive suspension? Is it still adaptive, especially in comfort mode?

I'm concerned a sizable drop will screw up the adaptive suspension.

I don't think it would be easy to mix different spring heights.

I'm still learning and getting used to the adaptive suspension, but there is definitely a noticeable difference between comfort and sport with the H&Rs. It's a bit bouncy in comfort, sport handles great, but as expected can be a bit more harsh over bumps, but it doesn't bother me at all. It's nowhere near as bad as I have experienced in other cars with lowering springs. I'm also a bit worried about lowering springs shortening the life of the adaptive dampers, but I'm not losing any sleep over it...the car looks great and handles quite well now.
