What are these parts worth to the dealer?
Hey guys, my local stealer offered to buy back these items from the 435i;
Std exhaust with tips - R4000 ($378 USD) Std rear diffuser - R1500 ($141 USD) Std Kidney grilles - R1500 ($141 USD) E70 X5 Rear tyres 20" +/- 60% tread - R2000 ($189 USD) I say erm well in ZAR it's worth what I've inserted, am I asking too much, too little? They're slightly used as I had them fitted at around 2000km. (except the X5 tyres had them as spare)

Look, surely all the forum members that have upgraded must have sold their old parts or wanting to sell them? Maybe we can set a standard price so everyone knows what their worth?

Your prices are twice as high as similar used parts selling on ebay. Factor in that the dealer isn't going to pay used retail prices for these, and I'd say you're asking about 4x too much for everything, if you're looking for a quick sale to a dealer.
Except the tires. They're worth nothing at all; in fact, you'll have to PAY the dealer to take them. No retailer/dealer is going to take those off your hands if you don't pay a disposal fee. 60% tread tires are completely worthless to any dealer; it will cost them money to throw them away. the dealer is not going to pay more than what he can buy it wholesale and probably offer considerably less.

Dealers also dont usually sell 2nd hand equipment here, so would be interesting as to why they will buy yours and what they will do with the parts, especially since they are standard parts with little aftermarket appeal. Well now, it would not be ethical to name the dealership, I think they probably sell them as used parts as they have a complete panel shop setup.

you won't get shit for that, dealership doesn't want your peasant autozone mods. Sell it on ebay, or on these forums...don't worry about lowing your price cause you won't get nearly anything what you're asking for. You'll have lowballers help you determine your price.
