It's here! 330d M Sport

Absolutely love it, gave a few thoughts in my "Build week" thread if anyone's interested

Been busy today sorting everything out on the car e.g. installing CF roundels (the inserts on the CF roundels look grey in the pics, they're actually a deep black matching everything else, not sure why they show as grey!), camera, black M badges to replace the coloured ones, black 330d badge etc. (tried to take a pic of the 330d badge just now but it doesn't show up too well in the dark as you can see, will get some better pics tomorrow), and sorting iDrive settings/favourites etc.. Here's a couple of quick pics for now It was chucking it down outside most of the time, hence pics with it in the garage (just fits!).

The badge and exhaust tips are grey, or is it reflection?

In one of the photos it's been debadged?

Thanks for the comments guys, will try and get some better pics tomorrow, if it ever stops raining!!

The black grilles are available from BMW, I think they were about £75 for the two; black (dark chrome) exhaust tips are from the 'Sport' line, and are around £60 for the two; the roundels are genuine carbon fiber (black, not grey, it's just the photo) which I have for the bonnet/boot/wheels and steering wheel, they were around £50 from a chap on eBay; the black/grey little M Sport badges (x5) were also from eBay, about £8 for all 5; anyone is welcome to PM me and I will give you some links All that's left to be done is some vinyl overlays (in 3 shades of grey) to go over the coloured /// M strips on the front door kick plates, I have the vinyl, just needs to be cut down.

The car came debadged as I was fitting the gloss black 330d badge myself, to match all the other badges, and the lack of chrome on the car

Sweet, and the first time I've seen black badges on an F30 - goes rather well Any other mods planned? Y'know once you've started...

Cheers, I've had them on my last 3 BMWs and I think they go best with the Mineral Grey (others were Space Grey and Black Sapphire); will try and get some close-up pics of the badges today.

I've also done the interior dash with the Matt coral red line (from the Sport line), but the only other thing I'm considering is a subtle body-coloured spoiler for the boot lid. The only one I've seen was a bit too big though, I'd want something subtle and small like the E92 M3 lip spoiler, but it doesn't look like one is a available yet! The dealer put me my Philips SilverVision indicator bulbs in (big difference actually!) but wouldn't put my white fogs in for 'legal reasons' (even though they're fully legal and E marked!) so I just need to do that at some point.

Nothing else planned I don't think!

Cheers John, girlfriend has stolen it for the next few hours for some shopping (thought I'd leave her to it!) so will try and get some pics when she gets back. I like the black grilles a lot, will look great on yours.

Yea I have the Tips and Grills and performance mats coming sometime, no rush though, once the car has done 1000+ miles it really lifts off , I have shocked a few sport cars with it so far.
Enjoy and Merry Xmas.

Thanks John, to be honest, already - even though I'm trying to take it quite easy - I'm extremely happy with the performance, the power is so effortless and accessible, and it's extremely quick; compared to the 135i and 335d I'm more than happy with how the power compares, even already

After seeing your pics I went and put some silvervisions in this morning (during a brief break in the weather) and it is impressive how much better they look. In the last car (MINI) the bulb holders were helpfully (!!) orange plastic so the effect wasn't as clear as in the F31. Very pleased

Definitely makes a difference doesn't it! There's so much detail and openness in the light housing that it's a shame to spoil it with the egg-yolk bulbs The SVs are great bulbs as well, as bright as stock.
