Repainting std M sport brakes

Since I might be ordering my car with an individual color, I'd also like to repaint my standard M sport brakes to the gold found on the M CCB's. Does anyone have the exact paint code for this color? There is a thread in the M3/4 section but no answer was given..

I know there is a M Performance option but these are plain yellow and would not work well IMO. Having seen the CCB's with the exterior color are a perfect match to me. Might also update to the slotted rotors.

Can this be done by any bodyshop? Dealer perhaps?
How does one obtain the white logo's on the brakes, are these heat resistant sticker or are these painted on?

Exterior color would be San Marino blue. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi, Greg,

Can't confirm you the color code, but the most important i can recommend- do make the repaing with the powder coat to withstand heat and stone hits.
I've done mine in Phoenix Yellow recently:

Regarding the decals- the best way is to do a paint-on light-grey ///M logo on the paint before varnish on top.

Vinyl stickers are also way to go, but those should be hi-temp and very sticky ones, as the ones which I got from Oracal just don't hold strong enough.

Thanks Dmitry, I saw these pics before. And however Phoenix Yellow compliments the white, I'm looking for somethnig more toned down.
Oro Elios is another alternative but too much metalllic flakes. OE CCB have a more dull gold color.

I'll inform for the decals and type of paint, great tip to point out.

Oro Elios looks very warm- like dark shampagne or like that- definitely interesting.
OE CCB seems to me a bit brighter in comparison however. Could you drop here a link to Oro Elios sample picture? I've found Lambo paints its cars with that.
What is your car's Individual color going to be?

Car will be San Marino blue, I like the combination on the M6 with the CCB. Gives a nice contrasting color scheme. I'll try to find a pic for reference.

Barroncpt has Oro Elios brakes, custom painted. Really nice result, but to shiny indeed. I'll post a pic of these as well.

Greg,
This color looks great on San Marino Blue! Body color is quite bright, so softer gold for the calipers is a wise choice.
