LED's won't throw codes if they are CANBUS. The flicker is caused by an internal diagnostic in the ECM. With incandescent bulbs the energy sent to the bulb isn't enough to light it up, but with LED's it is. The only way to fix it is to code it out. |

I can confirm that there's no way around coding to avoid the "random" flickering.
