There's a "sticky" thread in the "General F30..." forum with all the pics and info you should need about the M Sport, should be easy to find.

Im pretty sure M sport does have an extra transmission cooler. I believe it's located on the driver side front bumper where the fog lamp would be.

In NZ, the Sport is just a trim level. No mechanical differences from Luxury and Modern. If you want a sportier ride here you have to option M Sport suspension or go M Sport.

Not to mention the M Sport looks much better, imho anyway.

Anyone who has the cold weather pkg on the m-sport could you tell me if the steering wheel is heated?

I ordered a M Sport. For $1500 over the Sport, you get exterior enhancements, M wheels, an upgraded steering wheel which I think looks and feels great.

What turned me as much was the odd interior trade offs with the Sport, i.e., getting a long red stripe on the dash or avoiding it but still getting red stitching on the seats and doors.

I was told it was...I have a base, with cold weather, and want to upgrade to the M Sport (not M Perf) steering wheel so I can carry over the heated steering wheel.

I hate the stock wheel, but also am somewhat price sensitive.

I will know in a week or two, but I was told by my CA that getting the MPerf wheel meant I would lose the heated wheel (and I have cold weather & m-sport).

For me I can deal with the red line or stitching more than the blue key FOB that comes with the M sport. Have they fixed that and allowed another color yet?

Are you kidding me? I really try to hold back my comments on here (especially when I disagree), but are you trying to say that you went w/ the sport over M Sport because of the Blue Key Fob???

Considering the key is in your pocket and actually has very little to do w/ th car ... if anything???? I'm sorry ... this post just won the award for one of the dumbest comments of the year (at least for me). I've just printed it out and hung it on my mantle .. framed and all.

Makes a lot of sense (especially since you have a nice shinny RED ONE!)???

Actually, regarding the heated steering wheel + M-sport: When I look at my build-in-progress via My BMW site, it does not show heated steering wheel. Could be a glitch, but almost everything else appears correct.

I think we are misunderstanding your reasoning. Are you really in Germany and how are your English skills?

I never said I didn't buy for that reason, I actually bought before there was even a choice for an M-Sport. I was just trying to stir up conversation about the subject because I actually do have a co-worker who just picked up his 335i today and that was really one of his reasons for choosing sport line, to get the red key FOB that matched the red line on the dash and the red stitching. I thought it was anal, but not "dumb", especially after some of the BS you see on here. Glad I could humor/rouse you up to post. Enjoy your blue FOB.
