Will definitely include him in my search for a 5, 6 or X5 soon... Fingers' crossed there's a good deal to be had somewhere
The deals on the 6 are amazing and the 5 has some good deals. The X5 doesn't really have any great deal of discount on yet...

About 30%

On a £63K (640d) car the dealer deposit (i.e. discount without any haggling) is about £18k

Plus 2.9% APR

Not bad, just that I need 4 doors.

Any idea what sort of the deals on 5 series (6 cylinder)?

Gran Coupe has about 27% before haggling

Great deal from Peter Vardy on 640d coupe and gran coupe

http://www.petervardybmw.co.uk/curre...m-sport-coupe/

http://www.petervardybmw.co.uk/curre...es/gran-coupe/

Very tempting and only 1.5% APR too.

I also have a soft spot for the 7 series and I imagine with the new one due out soon, there should be great deals to be had on the current model. The Exclusive edition has lots of toys.

I've asked my local dealer Douglas Park Hamilton who I bought my 335d from if they can beat that.

HF were trying to push me into a 730D Exclusive a few months ago, they had a great deal on it too £399 PCH but i don't do PCH, I would rather build equity.

I think a 730d M Sport Exclusive with a £20k discount would really get my attention. Lots of toys as standard, 80 litre fuel tank, 4 doors for my young kids on odd occasion when they're in the car and only extras I'd need to add would be a sunroof and heated steering wheel.

Lovely cars, however only for those with motorways at bottom of garden

Not saying they are big.

Drove a 760 security model, a tank and a half

You are looking at £16K without haggling (dealer deposit and BMW UK contribution).

http://www.harryfairbairngiffnockbmw...-bmw/7-series/

My experience has been great so far but the odd few people on the forum haven't had a great experience.

You mean your experience with Harry Fairbairn or with a 7 series?

I had one (730d) for a day before I committed to F30 instead. Wife didn't like the length of the bonnet!

My commute is roundtrip 130 miles a day, 80 miles motorway 40 miles A road and only a short burst in town either end of commute.

I'm a sucker for a heavily discounted luxo-barge!

Harry Fairbairn - My experience has been perfect every time but some people don't like it due to being owned by Arnold Clark.

Wife drives a Seat Alhambra which is a long car but all the length is behind her - really short snout on them.
