Mr Lorcan has kindly offered to supply me with an ACS splitter for the M135i, when they come available in the UK, at a "once in a lifetime" price. This splitter will want painting. Mr Lorcan has suggested it's painted body colour, like this....



I'm wondering if infact black may work even better. Like this....



What's the combined wisdom on this choice? Is there an alternative?

I would usually say body colour but as you have the M Perf decals then i think it will look better in black

With m perf decals I would say black would look good, but what about the rear defuser? Is that staying standard?

Agreed, I really like the contrast of the M performance kit against a white car and I think this will give the same look.

In my opinion you can't go wrong with either so perhaps start with black and when you get bored of it or just fancy something different get it painted

Firstly it's 'dual ethnicity' not mixed race. Get your pc terms up to date.

I'd go black, the contrast is great on white cars (I'm biased though)

No necessarily.

No one makes one for the LCI.

But even if it changed,CIT would stay black

Out of those two pictured, I prefer the black ones, mainly due to the style. They don't appear to wrap around the sides like the AC ones posted. The wrap-around look makes the front look wider and odd compared to the rest and don't suit the car. If I had to choose between the two pictured, it'd be the black ones because I prefer the design (unless they're the same and I'm blind, in which case, please ignore me).

I believe they are both the same. It's just that the colour, and the poor picture quality doesn't allow to get a good sight of them.
