Upcoming F Series Wheel Controls & Boost Gauge

BMS has been slowly working on bringing our F series JB4 up to the level of the E series with in dash map switching and some in dash gauges.

To install you drop the panel under the steering wheel by removing 2x 10mm bolts, push the OBDII cable through an existing hole to the firewall to the engine bay, remove the CANbus POSITAPs previously installed, connect the green and brown CANbus wires to this OBDII cable using the supplied wire nuts, and load the dedicated OBDII CAN JB4 firmware.

The required custom made OBDII CANbus cable will be about $15 + shipping and we expect to have them in stock later this week or early next week.

Current in dash settings as of v1 firmware:

'***************************************
'OBDII In Dash Menu
'***************************************

'0 map menu, map shown on tach
'1 Active Sound MUTE (not relevant for most N55 models)
'2 Boost gauge on fuel, scaling in dash is 0 to boost safety setting, turns on when gas pedal is pressed 50% or more and turns itself off when you resume low throttle use.
'3 LED MAX brightness mode. For those with factory LED headlights this option brightens HALO during nighttime operation.
'4 OBDII Diagnostic Code Delete
'5 1st gear boost limiter
'6 2nd gear boost limiter
'7 3rd gear boost limiter

What if i already have the halos coded to max brightness already? Will this negatively affect anything?

I haven't seen this on N54tech yet !
I am a bit confused about positap you mean connect them to the relay of transmission directly and remove the original (green, brown) wires installed ?! if so how the then it's gonna connect to JB4 ?!

The CAN Connections under the hood have difficulty communicating with the dash. For tuning they are the same.
