Headlight Washer retrofit

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Hi, I've retrofitted Headlight Washers to pass an MOT after fitting aftermarket Xenons from halogens. I've wired the headlight washer pump to pin 24 in the FEM A173*2B and grounded the ground. I've then VO coded the FEM with option 502. But the washer pump does no activate. The pump does work as when this was wired in series with the windscreen washer pump it works normally.

When going into ISTA to try and actuate the washers, I get an error of headlight washer relay faulty or open circuit to relay.

Could anyone shed any light into coding I might have missed or where the relays are located?

Many thanks

Simply relay not in FEM.
Calculate SVT and check if it wants FEM replacement

Any update on the headlight washers? I've been working with a similar retrofit too. But I dealing with the headlight sensors first.
