Er, the phone is updated, but I don't see my email on the iDrive, nor see how figure it out. It comes through Mac mail. How recent must be the car software (I put in the latest last month), and where does the mail appear? Do I need to adjust the settings in mail on the phone?

Same here. Updates to the new iOS and latest iDrive, still cannot get email in iDrive>Office>Message.

Try telephone --> messages.

Also you need to quit and reopen the mail app each time in the car.

You need to quit and restart the iPhone mail app.

Positive: On a recent trip to Atlanta from Jacksonville, NC, couldn't help but notice that the sport seats have adjustable side bolsters. Pretty sweet!!

Negative: Well, maybe not a negative, but a bit of confusion. Looked through the manual to get more information on F30s equipped with Xenon headlights. Said the high/low beams are both on the outboard lights. So, what's the point of the inboard lenses now? Are they just there for show? What's the deal? If anyone has insight, let me know!

Yes, the inboard lenses are there just for show to give you 2 pairs of angel eyes.

Just got my software update and now my car no longer holds the 'presets' location. It stays on the last whatever I was listening to, if it was a FM radio station it comes back on that station but is in FM rather than presets, same with a Sat radio station, it will be under the genre of the station I was in rather than in presets.

What's even more weird is that if I hit radio on the idrive, presets is selected already and without doing anything my HUD is back on presets where it showed the non presets previously.

So weird and I'm not sure how to get it back the way it was. Mildly annoying...

Nope, they are just blanks. The camera for the lights are in the rear-view mirror mount.

Ignore that. It works but this can't be right. I have to leave iPhone notifications on to the lock screen for this to work? Ie my emails have to show on my lockscreen too? When I disable lockscreen preview of emails the idrive email no longer works right.
