I normally stay away from these because everyone not only has different tastes, but choices are not made on purely liking a colour alone. I've seen/test driven both M-Sports, and based solely on looks, it really is a toss up for me. So..... as john says, "get white so my EB stays more rare" :-P

I was told by the sales guy that it is a classic BMW colour. If you're a BMW fan and like it because of that, I get it. If you're a M sport fan and like it because that's what colour the car at the auto show display was....well, go for it. But it's girly. If you don't believe me, look at the gender of the person in most lighter blue Civics, Kias, or any other smallish car: broad, broad, broad, broad, broad....bank on it. Quote:
I wanna love it but I can't. I don't want to settle for AW either, but it's the only acceptable option other than EBII in my opinion. Last edited by jtuds; 10-11-2012 at 07:14 PM.. |

I have not seen the ebII in person but it looks cool. I decided to order mine 335 in ebII. Personally i think white is more of a girly color. I currently have a black 328 and love the color but it is way too hard to maintain. Plus i am keeping my car for a long time and over time i think the black will show more swirl marks.

New member here.... '13 EBII 328 owner here. I'm 32/M and I've been getting nothing but compliments on the road/at stoplights here in Atlanta...haven't seen another M-sport or EBII yet...and I hope it stays that way..at least for a while. The color is a bit bright and I can see the argument about it being a "girly" color...but it allows me to stand out from the sea of gray/silver/white/black cars that are all over Atlanta. Plus I think the color really shows the lines of the F30.

don't come to the northern suburbs or you might see mine (unless thats what you saw ) I actually have only seen 1 new 3 series (F30) since they came out! just started seeing new X3s a few months ago (the first 6 months we had ours I never saw another one).
As someone else said, the amount of EBII cars will be very limited because its only available with M Sport and not that many 3 series are M Sports, just a lot of people on these boards that buy them. |

i'd go estoril blue.
in fact i am going to order a f30 estoril blue relatively soon. i've got an "arctic white" audi a4 right now. now i like white cars a lot , and i've had more than 1. but EVERYONE has a white car now. plus i personally don't think it looks all that great on the f30 for some reason. like i love m-sport alpine white f10s but the f30 it just looks a little not as good , dont know. white is a pretty good color though, but i personally have always been a fan of blue and blue is always relatively rare (when i got my A4, i wanted a color called aruba blue which looks like slightly lighter estoril, but they only made it one year which was a past model). i'm rectifying that when i get the F30. i'm voting with my wallet! |
