So to introduce myself, I am a die hard driver, and have loved BMW's from watching the 2002s, 510s, and GTVs dicing it up at The Historics at Laguna, or the M1s breathing fire.... I went on to get my first BMW my seƱor year of high school (a well loved 17 year old gem). It was the lovely 1988 BMW 325 with the seta or efficiency motor. I loved and beat it and eventually built it into the baby blue sort of tribute spece30....
Had a few other BMWs as street cars and then about a month ago I managed to acquire what I believe is the e30 reincarnated in 2015 with the chassis code F30 (Does anyone else see this weird coincidence with the #30?). If we follow the pattern, I can't wait for the g30, oh no, not an Infinity.... Maybe I'm a little crazy, but I guess my point is I'm passionate about the marque. I have attached a couple photos of my pride and joy, a 2015 BMW 320i with of course the sport package, black kidneys, and heated seats... She is relatively stock at the moment, but I know myself and it won't stay that way for long...

Next up was getting a cover for her, since she lives outside unfortunately... I ordered a cheap semi custom cover and then managed to find a too good to be true deal on Craigslist... Even though I despise the graphics on it, it fits like a glove and will give my baby some protection from the elements....

And of course thanks to the Parking Nazi's (Santa Barbara Police Parking Division) I managed to get a ticket for no front plate within three weeks of having her... So I mounted the plate on one of the tow hook license plate mount kit to get it signed off...

I couldn't help but notice your thread title hahaha
Uncanny resemblance to my bmw history as I got my first car senior year of high school. It was an '89 325is, black on black, leather interior and 5spd! It was 10 years old when I got it but only had 90,000km on it. I miss that car dearly and I will def be looking to add an e30 to my stable again within the next 5-6 years... This time around its going to be an m3. Congrats on the new ride and enjoy!! |

And as a progression I also got a Burger Motorsports Stage One chip and oh my... I'll make a separate post about this after I learn how to not keep my foot planted in the boooost.... Great job guys... And by the way, the car is only driven on private roads and race courses...

And a failed attempt to put some more rubber and a bit of style, I went on a voyage for another craigslist deal... This time for a wheel set and tires... As you can imagine they are up for sale... (PM me if you or someone you know is interested.) The wheels supposedly came from a 2007 BMW M6.... 19" BMW Style 167 M Sport Wheels, Black with a red pinstripe. Almost new tires front and back. This is a staggered setup, with tire sizes 255/40ZR19 and 285/35ZR19. So I knew the tires were going to be on the tall side, but didn't expect the way they mounted having to do with the offset... They would have to be wire spokes on an impala with curb feelers to look right... Anyways I contemplated trying to find a shop to mill the backside where the mounting surface is, but I am feeling futile about my chances... But they are for sale/trade as is... The last photo is how I got the poor wheels... I had to put in the serious cleaning since some people don't like to clean their wheels obviously...
