Sat Radio.
the car im looking at, it says it has SATELLITE TUNER PREPARATION.
i called the dealer, but he doesnt know how to find it. where is the sat radio on a 2012 3 series?... cause i know even if your not subscribe to it, in other cars you should be able to access it, and the preview sound comes on and give you a # to subscibe to sirius or xm |

Prep is not the same as having sat radio.
You need to buy an fsc code to activate the function. You can do it at your dealer for about $375 or do it for less with bimmertech.

Nope, no wiring, that's what sat prep is which your car has.
I just went through the process. I bought the fsc code for under $200, a cable to connect to the car for $40 for coding, and uploaded the software to a laptop. The steps for how to do it are posted in the coding thread in the DIY section.

You said, you forgot to add that car number two has Sports suspension.
I stated, if one of them does or does not, that would be an issue for ME.

Umm, drive one.
It is lower, handles better. Drive a car with and without if you are unsure if it's something you want.
