Did you get break bulbs? Comparing to original bulbs, are the LEDs brighter (WeissLicht brand)? |

Definitely brighter in every aspect. I'm sure in Raleigh you can find someone to code you. They might work, but like I said, I never tried it

I think NSL are for the rear Fog lights (most of us in the US do not have them)

Hey guy's looks like there is a pre-order on Bimmian.com for Red Wiesslicht LED's that will fit Brake lights and Rear Turn signals.

I have returned the bulbs as soon as I got them. From two feet they looked great. From 50 you could barely see they are on. the reflection was very poor which I assume was due LEDs placement.

I changed out my car's rear turn signal incandescent bulbs (P21W) for Bimmian Weisslicht Amber LEDs (WTS302RAY), as well as back up incandescent bulbs (also P21W) for Bimmian white Weisslicht (LVL302VWY).
Though bulbs are error free, I did code three items for each light (LED, warm & cold checks) in order to avoid the periodic flickering due to the car sending a pulse out to check bulb -- does this to let you know if you have a bad bulb Both really make a difference and from a distance -- here's a shot of the turn signals (albeit up close); after 2 months, no problems. Really appreciate this thread for the help and info!

Sorry - haven't had time to go plug in the laptop and code for LEDs. Will do it this weekend hopefully.
The lights aren't on when you're driving/doors are closed |

Here we go, finally done. The spread on the brake lights is better than I thought honestly. There is no more "rose red" color (it reminded me of the older Lexus sedans with the second set of red brake lights on the trunk lid that bleached to a pink color).
They are significantly brighter than the stock, and the LED brakes/blinkers are what I think was missing from the 3 series to start with. Conveniently, the LED on the sides of the blinker bulbs line up perfectly so they're directly left/right facing (that's what the awkward picture of the bulb in the housing is). So, a few hundred bucks and a few months later, I'm all LED |
